ARTIST’S ADVANTAGE, INC ANNOUNCES REVOLUTIONARY NEW WINDMILL® EASEL, WINS FIRST PLACE FOR BEST NEW PRODUCT AT 2007 NAMTA TRADE SHOW IN CHICAGO
The WINDMILL® easel created quite a stir when it was introduced in Chicago at the 2007 National Art Materials Trade Association (NAMTA) trade show in April. Overwhelmingly voted on by artists, retailers, distributors, sales representatives and manufacturers in the artist materials industry, the WINDMILL® easel won the prestigious award of First Place for Best New Product for 2007. To further sweeten the victory, the WINDMILL® creator, Artist’s Advantage, Inc. was awarded Best New Exhibitor at the show.
The revolutionary patent pending WINDMILL® easel provides the artist
a new dimension in creativity, presenting the artwork to the artist from a new and expressly unique perspective. The WINDMILL® easel
manually revolves a full 360° to provide full access to the entire canvas. The method used to hold the canvas to the easel provides
the option of either complete surface exposure, or for the first time, complete edge exposure for true ‘museum wrap’ style painting.
Because of these attributes, the design greatly reduces artist fatigue associated with extended painting sessions. The WINDMILL® easel
also meets the guidelines put forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act and increases accessibility to the artwork for physically
challenged artists.
The WINDMILL® easel is available as a studio easel with a wood base or as a stand-alone pivot assembly. The stand-alone
unit easily attaches onto many horizontal and vertical surfaces such as worktables and walls, as well as many sturdy traditional easels.
The stand-alone unit travels well outside and readily attaches to many trees and fence- posts.
Artist’s Advantage, Inc. located
in Southlake, Texas was started in 2005 to design, develop, manufacture and market the WINDMILL™ easel. The WINDMILL® easel is the
invention of founder and President, Hal Shiff. Shiff created this easel as a direct result of his oil-on-canvas painting over the
past 25 years, providing him the necessary insight to the needs of the artist. For more information on Artist’s Advantage, Inc., and
